Volody Products Private Limited (“Volody”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides AI services through its LawxyAI module. These services include legal research, document drafting and review, document comparison, intelligent document question answering, document management, data analysis, case analysis, translation, plain-language conversion, marketing compliance, obligation management, ticketing, playbook generation, click-wrap agreement analysis and regulatory scanning.

Volody uses Customer Content only as necessary to:

Volody’s AI services do not use Customer Content to train, develop or improve AI models unless the customer expressly agrees in writing.
Volody may process de-identified usage data to monitor performance, prevent misuse and improve the AI services. Such data is not shared with third parties other than bound subprocessors and is retained for no more than thirty (30) days, unless a longer period is required by law. Customer administrators may opt out of the service-improvement use described in the AI Terms by writing to support@volody.com.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

Performance of a contract with you.
Compliance with legal obligations.
Legitimate interests, provided these do not override your rights and interests.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your personal data with:
Service Providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate our business, such as payment processors, IT service providers, and marketing agencies.

Volody implements and maintains the administrative, technical and physical safeguards described in its security documentation to protect Content. These safeguards include encryption in transit and at rest and role-based access controls.
Volody will notify the customer without undue delay of any confirmed security breach materially affecting its Content and cooperate on reasonable remediation steps.
Confidentiality of AI-Submitted Content
Volody treats Content submitted to its AI services as Confidential Information. Such Content is disclosed only as necessary to operate the AI services or as required by law.
Volody does not claim or waive any privilege attaching to Content. Submission to the AI services is made in confidence. Users remain responsible for taking appropriate precautions, including redaction where privilege concerns arise.
User Responsibilities for AI Services
Users must obtain all necessary consents before submitting client, opposing-party or third-party information as Input. Users are responsible for ensuring that submitted information does not infringe third-party intellectual property, confidentiality or privacy rights.
Users must independently review and verify AI-generated Output before any legal, regulatory or client-facing use.
AI-Generated Outputs
The AI services are research and drafting tools. They do not constitute the practice of law, create an advocate-client relationship with Volody or substitute for advice from a qualified advocate.
Users must independently verify AI-generated Output before relying on it or filing it. Users must not make automated decisions that materially affect legal rights without human review.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with legal requirements. A cross-reference to the retention of de-identified usage data for no more than 30 days, subject to the legal exception and confirmation that this is operationally accurate.
Your Rights
Under the DPDPA, you have the following rights:
Access: You can request a copy of your personal data.
Correction: You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: You can request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain conditions.
